This weeks new products are slip on hot pads. I made these per a customers request and she loves them. She can take the pot to the table and use it as a serving dish with no problem. Come check my many other handy products this week.
Elee Hadley of Mulberry Orchard is helped by her brother, Claude. Here is what he has to say about the Rose Petal Jam he created:
From the West Rose of Le Chateau de Ste.-Rose to the orchards and gardens in Lookingglass Valley come the experience and craft-minded products of the Artistes de la Cuisine and Jardiniers, at Mulberry Orchard. Picturesque Mulberry Lane– it’s a “sweetheart”, with the old mulberry tree and wild roses still growing and blossoming year after year! Try sampling our unusual jams, jellies, relishes and pickles made from wild rose petals, native and cultivated fruits and berries and vegetables all gathered on our luscious green hillsides. The local hand-picked rose petals are best in the morning with beads of dew still on the blossoms, then lovingly massaged to bring out the sweet perfume of French roses. A tip of the old artiste’s burette to the Cècile Brünner Rose.
After 2 work parties to prepare the roof, the Grange Hall now has new gutters. Now, could we just have some rain for a break from the heat?
Two Grange Work Parties were held to remove old gutters and prep the roof to get ready for the installation of new gutters. Men and women of the Lookingglass Grange worked hard to improve the Grange Hall.
Featured this week is the “No Flea Sticks” for dogs at the booth of Joyce Moore: Moore Yummy for the Tummy, Dog & Cat Treats. These sticks have become a favorite treat for dogs and dog owners. The natural ingredients include Brewers Yeast, which is supposed to help keep away fleas.
Give them a try and see what a difference they make for your dog and you!
